Colombian President Petro Ready to Take Up Arms to Respond to Trump's Threats    Colombian President  Gustavo Petro said he was ready to "take up arms" to defend his country, following United States President Donald Trump's threat to his government, on Monday (5/1). In a social media post, Petro, a former leftist fighter, said that any US military intervention in Colombia, such as the action against Venezuela at the weekend, would trigger resistance.   "I swear I will never touch a weapon again.
