Venezuelan President Maduro Paraded to US Drug Enforcement Headquarters, Here's What He Looks Like
NEW YORK - The White House released a new video showing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro being led by officers to the headquarters of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in New York, United States (US). Like a criminal suspect, Maduro's hands remain handcuffed.
Maduro and Venezuela's First Lady, Cilia Flores, were arrested in a surprise raid by US Army Delta Force special forces in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, early Saturday morning local time.
They were sleeping inside their residence at the high-security Ft Tiuna military compound in Caracas during the pre-dawn raid.
The video of Maduro being paraded to DEA headquarters was uploaded to X by Rapid Response 47, the White House's official rapid response account, on Sunday (4/1/2026).
The video shows the 63-year-old leader wearing a black hoodie, walking down a hallway with a blue carpet that says "DEA NYD".
