Colombian President Petro Ready to Take Up Arms to Respond to Trump's Threats    Colombian President  Gustavo Petro said he was ready to "take up arms" to defend his country, following United States President Donald Trump's threat to his government, on Monday (5/1). In a social media post, Petro, a former leftist fighter, said that any US military intervention in Colombia, such as the action against Venezuela at the weekend, would trigger resistance.   "I swear I will never touch a weapon again. But for the sake of my homeland, I will take up arms again," said Petro, as quoted by Al Jazeera. North Korea Condemns US Capture of Maduro: Serious Violation of Sovereignty       North Korea strongly condemned the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by the United States.
